Visit the Cox Arboretum, a 189-acre facility where visitors can escape the world amongst the trees and gardens, or the Carriage Hill MetroPark, a working 1800s farm that visitors can explore and learn about farming or go horseback riding. Five Rivers MetroParks consists of more than 16,000 acres of forests, grasslands, farmlands and wetlands throughout Montgomery County that have been preserved and protected. This nationally recognized park system has plenty of trails for biking, skating and hiking and recreation programs to get you set on a mountain biking, rock climbing or kayaking adventure.
