Join celebrities, royalty and the cream of the Thoroughbred breeding world at Keeneland, the picture-perfect track where they say it’s racing as it was meant to be. You may recognize the elegant track from the movie Seabiscuit, but it’s today’s very top horses, jockeys and trainers from around the world that converge every April and October. Keeneland is a fabulous reason to dress up and spend the day outdoors in a refined atmosphere steeped in tradition. It’s also one of few tracks where you can visit the barn areas and easily see the magnificent horses being saddled in the paddock area. An early morning visit is rewarded with the magical sight of the horses’ early workouts and breakfast among those in the industry at the Track Kitchen. A visit in January, April, July, or September means you can check out the Keeneland horse sales. Join the incredible energy that surrounds the sale of promising young thoroughbreds for more than a million dollars.
