Actress Milla Jovovich promises that the newly released Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, the latest film in the survivor series, will have more zombies and bigger stunts than ever. Her character, Alice, returns to The Hive, a bioweapons laboratory, where the Umbrella Corporation is planning a final attack on the only remaining apocalypse survivors. Superpowers are imperative. In real life, Jovovich knows exactly what superpower she’d like to have. “Teleportation because I’ve always wanted to just get right there and back,” she says. “It’d be so fun to go to China or Japan for lunch and make it back in time to pick up my daughter from school. Even better if she had teleportation, too; that would definitely save time on the school run!”

Larchmont Village Wine, Spirits & Cheese
“This is not only a cute little wine shop with selections from California and around the globe, but it also makes some of the best sandwiches in LA.”

Salt & Straw
“Really creative ice cream flavors that change all the time. The line can be long on a hot day, but it’s worth it. My favorite flavor is Salted, Malted, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.”

California Roll & Sushi Fish
“They have innovative sushi rolls and a really good lunch bento box special. It’s a casual spot for sushi; the uni is one of my favorite dishes.”

Flicka
“This is an adorable children’s clothing store; they have stuff from infant to tween. They don’t have a lot of space, but it’s all supercute! It’s a great place to pick up some clothes for the kids.”
