Currently recognized as an advocate for the city and its food culture, Besh has created six restaurants that offer different levels of dining, all prepared with local ingredients and a sophisticated Louisiana accent. A refined culinary experience, dinner at August might include foie gras three ways or a Honey Island chanterelle and wild onion tart with lacquered Berkshire pork cracklin salad—and those are just two of the appetizers.
