The main airport in Omaha is Omaha Airport (OMA). The airport and is located nine miles, or a 20-minute drive, from downtown Omaha. Visitors can rent a vehicle at the airport. Also catch a taxi right at the airport for about an $11 fare to downtown.

Getting Around:
If staying primarily in the city, Omaha’s public transit system, Metro Area Transit offers transportation around the city and its immediate suburbs. If considering day trips while visiting Omaha, renting a car is the best solution.
