The Laurel Highlands (located about 90 minutes south of Pittsburgh) is home to three Frank Lloyd Wright masterpieces:
- Fallingwater named one of “50 places of a lifetime” by National Geographic is open mid-March through November, Tu-Su, 8:30am-4:00 pm. In-depth and children's tours available. Admission $15 weekends, $10 weekdays. Reservations essential.
- Duncan House Bed and Breakfast is one of only four Frank Lloyd Wright homes in the U.S. that offers overnight lodging. Prices start at $425 and up for up to 3 people (kids age 6 +)
- Kentucky Knob sits 2000 feet above the Youghiogheny River and is a culmination of organic architecture and elegant living space.
