Chef Thomas McNaughton’s popular Flour + Water is all about authentic, rustic Italian cuisine, with made-from-scratch pasta, house-cured meats and Neapolitan-style pizzas fired in a wood-burning oven. Although the restaurant has received plenty of well-deserved accolades, it still maintains a low-key, come-as-you-are attitude. The pastas and pies draw a sizable carb-loving crowd, so arrive early or try to score a reservation.
